When and where and timings of the Match?

The tour has commenced with the Test Matches and will follow up by One Day Internationals(ODI) and Twenty20 respectively. The 2nd Test of the tour will go live from Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, India on 12th October 2018 at 09:30 AM IST.




INDIA vs WEST INDIES : 2nd Test Team Squad List : 

India having ICC Number 1 as their test match ranking is having a bit harsh record against West Indies who have Number 8 as their ICC test ranking. India and West Indies have been playing constantly with each other and the last series don’t have a positive impact of West Indies where the team refused to play further.




Though West Indies and India have head to head played a total of 94 test matches out of which 46 matches were drawn and 30 matches were won by West Indies and only 18 matches are won by India giving West Indies a win percentage of 31%.

 

India Team Players Squad List :

The Indian squad will play under Virat Kohli as captain with Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Lokesh Rahul, Rishabh Pant (wk), Prithvi Shaw in the team.




West Indies Team Players Squad List :

Whereas West Indies will be captained by Kraigg Brathwaite with Kieran Powell, Devendra Bishoo, Shannon Gabriel, Shane Dowrich (wk), Sunil Ambris, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Keemo Paul, Roston Chase, Sherman Lewis in the West Indian Squad.




According to Previous match winner

It is hard to predict the winner of the match as the ICC Ranking of India and West Indies contradicts with their past win loss record.




But keeping in mind the performance that team India gave in 1st Test Match it can be assumed that India will also take over West Indies in 2nd Test too.
